Something's Not Right With City - McSheffrey

Former Coventry City player Gary McSheffrey has said that City should be getting better crowds than they are.

“It’s not nice to see at all and the club deserves more,” McSheffrey said to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.

"All the marches and petitions to get the club back in Coventry was obviously the right thing to do but you get a near sell out in the first game back and then the attendances just go down and down.

“I think we got a bigger crowd at the FA Youth Cup Final when I was in the youth team, so it’s not nice to see.

“It’s a results business but I just find it strange that all the petitions to get back at the Ricoh and then you get 6,000-odd supporters. Just a few months ago there was a near sell-out here against Gillingham and now it’s as low as this. Something's not right.”
