According to Sky Sports, Newcastle United are again interested in Coventry City's Danny Fox.

The Geordies Academy boss Richard Money knows all about Fox having sold him to the Sky Blues and the satellite broadcasters are talking of a fee of move than the £2m they initially offered.

City Chairman Ray Ranson is a former Newcastle player but has said that Coventry do not have to sell players and it may take a massive bid from Newcastle to land Fox, who has two and a half years left on his contract at the Ricoh Arena, before the transfer window closes on Monday.

Sky mistakenly reckon that City have signed Kris Commons from Derby County.
