Sky Blue Sports & Leisure, the vehicle used by Sisu Capital Limited to buy Coventry City in 2007, will not be struck off the Companies House register.

An application had been made to remove the holding company which part owns Coventry City FC, and is run by Tim Fisher and Laura Deering, from the Companies House list.

The application had been made as a legally required confirmation statement was late.

However, that was filed with Companies House on Wednesday and has been accepted and the company, which along with Otium Entertainment Group and Arvo Master Trust, will be continuing their long running court action against Coventry City Council and Arena Coventry Limited.

A spokesman for Companies House said to the Coventry Telegraph's Ben Eccleston: “We can confirm the proposed strike off action was done by Companies House due to the non-filing of statutory documentation.

“However, the confirmation statement that was due, has now been filed and accepted on January 17 and strike off action has been discontinued.”
