Coventry City 1987 FA Cup Final winning manager John Sillett and his wife Jean have been made Life Presidents of The Coventry City Diamond Club.
The Sillett's had the role of President and Lady President but have accepted the new honour of being the City supporters club's Life Presidents.
This left a vacancy and the Diamond Club have moved to give the honour of being President to Joe Elliott, who has been a Diamond Club Committee Member for the last twenty one years and his wife Grace.
Speaking to Covsupport News Service, Mr Elliott said that he was honoured to named as the Diamond Club President.
