Shrewsbury A Rare Place For A City Win

Saturday's League One game will be the 27th meeting between Coventry City and Shrewbury Town.

In those 26 matches between the two sides, Coventry have won nine with seven draws, scoring 41 goals to Shrewsbury's 41.

City are still to record a first team win at the Greenhous Meadow, having lost 4-1 last season in a game which was the point for the club in forty plus years and two draws - 2-2 in 2007 and 0-0 in 2011 in pre-season matches.

Coventry City have only won once in a league and cup game in Shrewsbury. That was in April 1958 when City won 3-1, a season after their heaviest defeat - a 5-0 loss.

City's record at Shrewbury is played 13, won one, drawn three, lost nine, scored eleven, conceded 28.
