Seven Northampton Towns fans have been arrested after reports that a 61 year old male was glassed outside The Buffs Club on Saturday before Coventry City's game with The Cobblers.
A 17 year old and a 19 year old, both from Northampton, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding are on police bail pending further investigation with four others aged between 17 and 26 arrested arrested on suspicion of affray and bailed.
One futher male was arrested and released without charge.
The City supporter is reported as being in a stable condition in hospital.
