Such was the success of a scheme whereby a highly descriptive matchday commentary, via special headsets, was provided for visually impaired City supporters during the home game with Reading, that the scheme will continue next season.

Mike Meitin, manager of the club’s fan relationship centre, said to the CT: “The feedback we received from the participating supporters is that the commentary added to their enjoyment of match, it is definitely something we will look to do again at the start of next season.”
