Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that James Maddison has gone for a scan on his back.
Maddison has had the injury for a couple of weeks and speaking at this morning's press conference, Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph: "He goes for a scan today on his back and we hope it's nothing serious.
"He's been extremely hard-worked this year - he participates in U18, U21 and senior football. We expect it's the culmination of a growth spurt."
Meanwhile, defender Danny Pugh goes under the knife for an operation on his ankle injury. Pugh will be out for the rest of the season.
