SBT - Bringing Football Back To The Fans

Last updated : 31 August 2017 By SBT

The Sky Blue Trust working alongside Supporters Direct have arranged an exclusive event ( supported by Skins) to discuss the future of football club ownership and accountability.

Trust members are invited to attend this event which aims to explore these important  issues.

For too long, football fans have been relegated to the bench or worse, exploited. Some owners forget that we are fans, not fools
- the lifeblood of any club and the heart of any community. When clubs fail, towns and cities do too, socially and economically.  We've seen it before. We never want to see it again.

This is therefore an opportunity for fans to have their say on what they’d like to see happen to help bring  football back to the fans and to add their voices by joining with friends from neighbouring clubs and an exclusive panel of eminent supporters and campaign champions.

The meeting takes place at The Arena Suite, Coventry RFC, Butts Park Arena, Coventry, CV1 3GE on Wednesday 13th September 2017 with a 7pm start.

Fans Not Numbers, Midlands is one of five regional events giving fans a national platform to:

· Hear a positive call for reform in football governance

· Join the national debate to re-shape football’s future

· Be heard as Supporters Direct and SKINS take the fight – and the plans - to government

Entry to the event is free. Anyone wishing to attend should register at:
