Sky Blues in the Community are holding a female football tournament in Coventry this Sunday, in partnership with Goals Soccer Centre.
The tournament has three age groups running - Under 13, Under 15 and adult competition (for 16 and over) for 5-a-side teams. Local clubs or groups of friends are invited to sign up, which costs £15 per team and takes place from 1.30pm at the Goals Soccer Centre on Bell Green Road.
The event also links in with the Football League Trust Female Football Development programme, which is run by the community team to encourage women and girls aged 14+ to play football in a variety of settings.
