Dominic Samuel has said that he was pleased to get his loan at Coventry City off to a good start with a goal.
The loanee from Reading told Tom Waters: "I didn't have much time to think about it as the defenders were closing me down and the keeper was off his line, so I just tried to hit it early and hoped it would go in. Luckily, it did.
"I've been scoring every week in the (Reading) Under-21s, so I was hoping I could take that confidence over to my performances for Coventry and obviously, it’s a good start for me to get my first senior goal on my debut."
