Coventry City defender Ryan Haynes has said that he is excited for the new season.
Haynes who was in and out of City's first team last season, said to Matt Joyce: "Last season was a weird one really.
"At the Crawley game at the end of last season, there were no celebrations, this club should not be in a relegation battle we all know that.
"It wasn't good enough. For a club of our size we should definitely be aiming for a top five finish no question about it.
"I hope next season is the season everyone has been waiting for, the fans haven't seen success in recent years and for me personally, I'm really fired up to help give us all something to properly celebrate.
"I'm really excited for what the season holds, I think we are moving in the right direction."
