Rugby Career For Jay Tabb

Former Coventry City midfielder Jay Tabb is now playing rugby union.

Tabb joined the Sky Blues from Brentford in 2006 and made 95 appearances, scoring eleven goals before moving to Reading FC and Ipswich Town.

The former Republic Of Ireland international, who had ten caps for a country that he hold a dual passport, was released by Ipswich in 206 and returned to his native South London.

With some members of his family, Tabb has moved into rugby union, playing for Old Wimbledonians, who play in Raynes Park, as a full back.

Tabb has been getting on the scoresheet for Old Wimbledonians and is expected to be in the team today which is away to Sandown and Shanklin RFC in a friendly.
