Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that Southend is always a difficult place to go.
City travel on the back of two victories but do not have the best of records at Roots Hall and speaking about the game, Robins told the media this morning: “They are doing really well, they have had a change of shape and we will have got to be on our game and be focused and concentrated and go and play our game as well.
“We have got our own threats and we have to look at that, we know what they have been doing and we’ll look to try and make it as difficult as possible for them.
“It is always a difficult place to go to, tight pitch tight ground, good atmosphere, we’d be taking a few supporters as usual and we are looking forward to it.
“We have got two away games coming up and it would be nice to be able to pick up certainly maximum points from that but picking up points from away game is always good so, two tough trips and like I said the focus would obviously be on the first one at Southend.
“The results have been pretty good against the top teams, the teams that are the top of the league at the moment and obviously last week against Wycombe was a really good win for us because that was the first time we played a team that got promoted.”
