Robins Now Out Of Barnsley

Mark Robins, who was one of the five shortlisted for the Coventry City manager's job, has had now lett Barnsley.

His manager's contract at Barnsley FC was terminated on Friday and Robins, who is also wanted by Ray Ranson to manage the Sky Blues if he were to take over the club again, has received a formal letter informing him that he is now serving a 12-month notice period as per the terms of his contract.

BBC Radio Sheffield had undersood that Robins and Reds owner Patrick Cryne have had a disagreement over next season's budget and the overall running of the club moving forward. Neither have been available for comment.
