Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that he is delighted to bring back Michael Doyle to the Sky Blues.
Doyle will sign full-time for City on July 1st after his contract for Portsmouth for whom he was captain under former Sky Blue Paul Cook, expires.
Speaking about Doyle to Billy Marshall, Mark Robins said: "I'm delighted to welcome Michael back to the club. He has just captained Portsmouth to the League Two title and has almost been an ever-present throughout his career.
"He brings experience, desire and a knowhow to the team and his leadership qualities on and off the pitch can not be underestimated."
Portsmouth have thanked Doyle for his service and said; "Portsmouth Football Club would like to thank Michael for his excellent service to the club and wish him well for the future."
