Coventry City manager Mark Robins said that it was brilliant to get back in after Conor Chaplin scored in stoppage time to give City a 1-1 draw against Peterborough United, who took the lead in the 89th minute through Ivan Toney.

Robins told the media: “I would have been devastated with a defeat and the manner of the goal that they scored which we gave them, it would have been harsh.

“It was brilliant to get back in, we showed great character right at the death, to get an equaliser so quickly after was brilliant.

“Conor Chaplin keeps his record up of getting late goals, certainly at home, which is good, but I’m still disappointed that we didn’t get all three points.

“I think we were capable of doing that, I thought our performance was very good all night against a good side. They play in a way that tries to put you under pressure all the time, but I thought we played well.”
