Coventry City have returned Rohan Ricketts back to Tottenham after deciding not to take him for a second month.

Peter Reid said about Ricketts who made five appeances for City:"Rohan is a talented player with a lot of potential and we wish him well in his career."

The City manager who has been heavily criticised for the amount of short term loan players he has brought in,who have not done the business like Matty Mills, Ricketts and Floren Laville, felt that the performance agaisnt Plymouth partly made up for the nightmare that was Leicester.

He told the CET: "There was certainly a lot more desire and passion and that is something I have been trying to instil. "They had the bit between their teeth and if they can just get some consistency to their game then we will be all right.

"To be fair to them, they have done it against Sunderland, West Ham, Forest and Reading, who I think have had just one defeat in 12 and that was against us, so I really believe we can do it.

"They have set their standards and now they have to keep hitting that level. I have had to get the team together with loans and free transfers and we have just got to keep beavering away."
