Peter Reid feels City have turned the corner following wins over Plymouth and Wolves.

The City boss said: "We looked solid as a team against Wolves and now we've got to go out there and do it again. "We're still in the bottom half of the table but if you can get on a run you soon get in that top half - Derby have proved it, Sunderland have proved it and I'm just hoping we can prove it.

"It's a challenge to go out and get even more positive results and I just feel there's an air about the place that we could've just turned the corner. "I think the players are looking forward to going out and performing on Saturdays now."

Reid is trying to extend the loans of Florent Laville and Luke Steele from Bolton and Manchester United respectively. Laville's loan spell which has seen the defender injured for much of his month at Highfield Road, expires after the Crewe game
