Last updated : 11 December 2010 By Covsupport News Service/RD

Coventry City travel to reading without midfielder Sammy Clingan and central defender Ben Turner who are still both out with knee injuries.

Left back Stephen O`Halloran has returned to training after recovering from a long term back injury, but he is nowhere fit enough to be considered for team selection yet.

Reading skipper Matt Mills returns after suspension and is likely to replace Zurab Khizanishvili. Winger Jimmy Kebe has fully recovered from a knee injury and is in the running for his first outing since October.

Coventry City have not beaten Reading in their last six attempts and have lost on their previous three trips to Reading. However it is the Sky Blues who have the better recent form and go into the game in the knowledge that they do have the ability to beat so called bogey teams this year.

Coventry sit in fifth place in the table on 33 points and have won their last three games. Another win on Saturday would be their fourth in a row which City have not managed since 2002 when they were still in the premier League. Coventry City have also kept three consecutive clean sheets and if they can achieve another today would mean four successive clean which the club last managed eight years ago

Reading have drawn their last four matches and a fifth draw would mean they would be the first team to mange five consecutive draws in the Champioship for two years. The Royals have not won a league game since October.

Reading are in are 13th place in the Championship, but have managed to score eight goals without reply in the last ten minutes of matches they have played this season.

MATCH FACTS:

Head-to-head

Last season Reading did the double over Coventry and the last time Coventry beat Readin was in February 2005.

If Reading score it would be the club's 50th in home league games against Coventry City.

Reading

Reading are without a win in six matches. They are on their longest run of draws since they had six in a row at the end of their 2001/2002 promotion winning season.

Another point would take Reading's all-time total in the second tier to 1,000.

The Royals have not lost a Championship match this season in which they have scored first, and have not won one after conceding the opening goal.

Jay Tabb is set to face his former club, while keeper Adam Federici is in line for his 100th appearance for Reading and Alex Pearce his 100th career league appearance.

Coventry

Coventry have won all but two of the 12 Championship matches this season in which they have scored first.

They have not won any of the seven games in which they have conceded the opening goal, and have taken a solitary point from games in which they have been behind.

A win would give City boss Aidy Boothroyd his 300th league point as a manager.

The current return of 33 points after 20 games is Coventry's best for nine years.
