Ranson reveals the clubs stance on Eastwood

Coventry chairman Ray Ranson has said he is "moving on" after the tranfer of Freddy Eastwood collapsed last week.

The Welsh international claims he is owed money by Wolves, while Wolves insist the impasse is between the player and the Sky Blues.

But Ranson retorted saying: "The only way it would be resurrected is between Freddy and Wolves, but as far as we are concerned, we are moving on."

He also told the Evening Telegraph: "We have made a number of inquiries for players but we have not made any bids yet."

City are tipped to make a £1m offer for Sheffield Wednesday defender Richard Wood but the Owls are desperate to keep the 22-year-old at Hillsborough.
