Said the City Chairman to the club website: "The amount of season ticket holders we have at this stage of pre-season is extremely pleasing, especially as we still have a month to go with prices at their cheapest rate.
"I would like to thank all of our fans who have bought a season ticket. After last season's disappointments I think it is fantastic that so many of our supporters are sticking with us but we don't want to just stop here.
"It would be great if we could get past last season's figures and perhaps even reach the 10,000 mark. That would represent a terrific effort by the Sky Blues supporters and would be a massive boost for the club ahead of an important season."
