Nottinghamshire Police have said that they will be taking action against any Coventry City supporters using pyro, smoke bombs, flares, etc at the game at Notts County.

The EFL launched a pyro clampdown last year but there has been blue smoke bombs etc at a number of City away games including the 1-1 draw at Newport County last Friday following Max Biamou's equalising goal, despite City supporters being heavily searched at away games with Nottinghamshire police at Mansfield using dogs trained to sniff for explosives.

Notts Police have tweeted: "A very small minority of continue to use and promote the use of pyrotechnics on match day.

"Be aware that if found in possession or use a device you are likely to be arrested and placed before the courts and a banning order sought."
