Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that the club would love to extend the loan of Matthew Pennington.
The loan from Everton for the defender expires after Saturday's League One game at Preston North End and the City boss is hoping to have Pennington available for that game after over-coming a knee injury which saw him return to The Toffees for rehabilitation and to keep him for longer.
“We’d love to keep him because he gives us real cover – he provides options over the back four so he’s ideal," Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.
