Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he does not have a problem with players who want to leave at the end of their contracts.

Franck Moussa and Cyrus Christie are two players looking to play at a higher level than the one City will be at next season and speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole, Pressley said: “What people need to understand is that when a player signs a three-year contract his commitment is only for those three years.. “If he wishes to move, that’s his decision and that’s football.

“Where I have a problem is when they are seeing out their contract and I start seeing it is having an adverse effect on the them.

“Sometimes that can be mentally rather than physically because it’s an uncertain period and uncertainty is the hardest thing for a player.

“That’s my one and only concern but as long as a player applies himself to the maximum for those three years then I have no complaints at all.”
