Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that wing backs gives his side more of an attacking threat that the use of out and out wingers.

Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: "I thought Pugh was outstanding on Saturday, with the system that we have we get Pugh in more advanced positions as well as Clarke and I think you can see from the weekend his delivery from the second goal he has wonderful delivery from those areas.

"I think as well we want to be an exciting team, the wing-backs give us an attacking threat and when you play with O’Brien and Swanson it’s an attacking team and two strikers.

"Our entire game is based about being solid as a team but never getting away from that exciting football supporters want to see.

"It’s a valid point in a 4-4-2 but the systems we’ve adopted I think personally suits the players we have at the club."
