The left back, who had given the Sky Blues a 26th minute lead, was involved with Shane Long in an incident captured by the SKY TV cameras.
Reading boss Steve Coppell has played down the incident saying: "It happens. It was in front of the dugout and I just saw Shane hit the ground. He wasn't very happy, but he's all right."
