Coventry City manager Mark Robins said that he was pleased with elements of City's play during the 6-1 defeat at Premier League side Arsenal.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player's Nick Connoll, Robins said:  "I know it sounds stupid having been beaten 6-1 but I was pleased with elements of our play which will give us confidence going into the game on Saturday.

"Arsenal are outstanding and they can do that to anyone so at the end of the day despite us being low on confidence we've given a good account of ourselves and got on the scoresheet so there are some positives to take away from this.

"What I wasn't pleased about was that we allowed them to waltz through us in the second half which was a turning point in the game.

"When you can bring on the kind of talent they did with a triple substitution with 20 minutes to go it was a bit of a killer blow for us because we were dead on our feet.

"But I was pleased with the way we tried to pass the ball and tried to move it forward, howeVer there's still plenty of work to do and we will do it."
