Coventry City forward Lukas Jutkiewicz,defender Cyrus Christie and midfielder Conor Thomas have thanked the City supporters who travelled to Gigg Lane to watch the Sky Blues lose 3-1 on Tuesday night in a League Cup First Round tie.
Jutkiewicz tweeted: "Thanks to all the travelling support tonight. you were superb. "It wasn't good enough and we will put it right on Saturday."
Christie and Thomas both tweeted: "Sorry 2 all the fans that traveled down thanks 4 ur support big game sat 2 put it right."
