Players Start To Show Some Fight

Coventry City tonight admitted that rumours regarding a fight at training in Wednesday were true.

A statement issued by the club on their website says: "In response to reports this afternoon, Coventry City can confirm that there was a training ground incident on Wednesday.

As we know, every footballer is passionate about their profession and training ground incidents happen at football clubs on a regular basis up and down the country. The matter will be investigated internally and the Club will take the course of action deemed most appropriate. Coventry City Football Club will not be making any further statement on this subject."

Skipper Robert Page and Michael Doyle are rumoured to be the two involved Michael Doyle was due to have attended a function at Templars School in Tile Hill yesterday but was replaced at the last minute by Andy Whing and is believed to be doubtful for the game against Luton on Tuesday night.
