Having signed Leon McKenzie, been rejected for a short term loan for Michael Gspurning, offloaded Claus Jorgensen to Blackpool and saw the Nacho Novo deal collapse, it has emerged that Coventry City tried to sign Darren Moore from Derby County yesterday.
One Yes,Three No's and One Out
Reports suggest the deal fell through in mysterious circumstances. Moore had a medical and the clubs are thought to have agreed a fee.
For reasons unknown, the deal collapsed and Moore returned to Pride Park.
Micky Adams said to the CET: "We had agreed everything with Darren who had also passed his medical but unfortunately he had issues with Derby County."
