Rochdale have sacked their manager.
Rochdale have struggled of late with Coventry City getting their first ever win at Spotland and a heavy loss away to Plymouth.
The contracts of Keith Hill and Chris Beech have been terminated with immediate effect and Brian Barry Murphy and Tony Ellis will take charge of the team for their game against Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
Rochdale have thanked them for their exceptional services to the club.
Meanwhile, the latest manager at Bradford City has been announced as Gary Bowyer.
The ex Blackpool and Blackburn Rovers boss will be in charge initially until the end of the season and will have Andy Todd, son of Colin as his assistant, with Todd also on a short term contract.
