Coventry City captain Jim O'Brien has said that it has been a weird week following this dismissal of Steven Pressley.

Speaking to Tom Bloomfield at this morning's press conference, O'Brien said:  "It's been weird this week, we have been getting on with things. Neil and Dave have been truly professional, putting on some good sessions.

"We had a meeting Monday with Steve Waggott, it's not a nice thing. It's part of Football but it is tough.

"It's strange to think that if we had held on Saturday, the manager might still be here.

"As players we need to take responsibility for all the results we have got this season. Our manager worked so hard, Steven was one of the hardest working.

"When a manager goes you can normally say what wasn't right. The only thing that wasn't right was the results and I think that's down to us players more than the manager.

"You can't change what's happened. We just have to put things right. We're not the fourth worst team in the league."
