According to the Nottingham Evening Post, Notts County are interested in signing David McGoldrick who is currently on loan at Coventry City from Nottingham Forest.

McGoldrick has scored six goals in twelve matches whilst on loan but that loan is up in very early January and Forest could well be tempted to cash in if he is not in Forest manager Sean O'Driscoll's plans.

Speaking to the Nottingham Evening Post, Notts County boss Keith Curle is quoted as saying: "He is a player I like and it will be interesting to see exactly what his plans are come January. "We looked at him in the summer, but he was outside what I wanted to spend."
