Nothing Agreed For Mifsud

Michael Mifsud may stay at Coventry City until the end of the season.

The Maltese international hit the winner for Coventry City yesterday against Blackpool and has pledged to do well for the Sky Blues whilst at the club, prompting City manager Chris Coleman to say that he would not be too unhappy if the transfer window closed and Mifsud was still at the club.

"If we don't get a bid for him, great," said Coleman, who could also lose Jay Tabb to the CT. "We will keep him until the end of the season and I am sure he will do a good job for us."

City have had talks with an un-named club about Mifsud but nothing has been agreed and with the Maltese international on around £8k per week at City, Mifsud could well decide to stay at City and sign for someone else on less money but a longer deal at the start of next season.
