City boss Chris Coleman told the CT: "There is no truth in Fotheringham or Hooper. "Out of respect to the players we are after I won't mention their names but we are looking to bring in players.
"There will be stories about some of our players leaving that won't be true and there will be some stories about players we are going to sign and they won't be true but there's nothing we can do about that."
