Coventry City defender Elliott Ward has turned down a loan move to Notts County.
Ward, who is out of Chris Coleman's picture at City, wanted a permanent deal rather than the loan one that County were reportedly offering.
Speaking to the CT, Chris Coleman said: "Elliott has turned down the chance to move, albeit on loan, but something might happen in January.
"I have discussed the situation with Elliott and he is down the pecking order so something may happen."
