Anton Robinson may have played his last game for Coventry City.

The loanee midfielder damaged his knee during the 0-0 draw at Oldham Athletic on Monday and could be out for the rest of the season.

City are waiting on the results of a scan on the player who is out of contract at Huddersfield Town in the summer and Steven Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: "We’re obviously unsure until he’s had the scan but the initial feeling is that maybe he’s played his last game for us.

“He’s in a bit of discomfort and it’s a bit of a blow for him and us; a real shame for the lad..

“It’s always a concern when a player is injured and out of contract but we’re hoping it’s just a mild strain and nothing more serious,” said Pressley, “but the feeling is he’ll probably struggle to be fit for the remaining two fixtures.

“He’s been excellent and come in and done exactly what I wanted him to do. He’s very steady in his performance and got lots of energy. We needed a little bit of maturity in the team and he’s provided that.

“It’s obviously a concern for him as well as us but hopefully it will settle down.

“With Billy Daniels struggling with a hernia and Franck Moussa’s situation as well, we’re a little bit short in midfield just now.”
