Coventry City Reserves will not be playing their annual pre-season friendly at Nuneaton Borough, next term. The Conference North side are only playing one home game during pre-season and that is against Wolves on August 1st at Manor Park.

Like the Sky Blues, Nuneaton are due to start season 2005/06 in a new stadium. However, delays in the planning stages means that building work cannot go ahead at the Liberty Way complex until after the go ahead from Nuneaton and Bedworth Council whose planning department will be meeting on June 22nd and Boro are expected to start the season playing at Manor Park.
Meanwhile, Bedworth United have decided against playing the likes of Coventry City and Nuneaton Borough in pre-season friendlies. Greenbacks boss Mark Hallam feels that playing sides up for it from lower leagues will be more beneficial for his players. They have pencilled in a game against Leamington FC at home on Saturday July 30th and four days later will take on the reformed Atherstone United at the Oval.

News is still awaited regarding the reserves team for next season, with no announcement so far about where home matches will be played, whether the reserves will continue in the FA Premier Reserve League South and who will be the manager.
