Coventry City defender Danny Fox looks likely to miss out playing for England U21's in the upcoming European Championship.

Stuart Pearce, himself a former City player, has not selected the City player and now it seems that Fox's only chance is if someone withdraws due to injury.

"I think he had a very good season and was very consistent and, for me, did more than enough to get in," said City boss Chris Coleman to the CT. "But I don't pick the squad and I would never try to tell Stuart who to pick.

"I just hope that our poor form, as a team, over the last few months of the season didn't have a bearing on any decision."

One time City target Andrew Driver is in the squad which is as follows.

Goalkeepers
Joe Hart (Manchester City), Joe Lewis (Peterborough United), Scott Loach (Watford)

Defenders
Martin Cranie (Portsmouth), Kieran Gibbs (Arsenal), Michael Mancienne (Chelsea), Nedum Onuoha (Manchester City), Micah Richards (Manchester City), Andrew Taylor (Middlesbrough), Steven Taylor (Newcastle United), James Tomkins (West Ham United)
