Police have praised the behaviour of Coventry City and Leicester City supporters after the first M69 derby of the season passed off without incident.

The kick off time was brought forward to 12.30pm by the police and there were no arrests before or immediately after the match.

Sergeant Mark Weeks from Stoney Stanton Road police station told the CT: "We were able to stand our troops down early. As far as we are concerned the fans behaved themselves very well and it was a good day had by all."
