Sheffield United have confirmed the appointment of Nigel Adkins as their new manager.
The former Scunthorpe United and Southampton boss was appointed at a press conference at 5pm today in London.
Adkins has signed a three year deal and replaces Nigel Cough and is bringing in Andy Crosby as Assistant Manager and Dean Wilkins as First-Team Coach.
