Nice Trek For The Referee

The currently appointed referee for Coventry City’s League One game at Yeovil Town is Andy Haines from Sunderland.

A member of the Tyne & Wear RA after moving to the North East from London in 2000, he was promoted to the National Referees List in 2007.

His last City game was the 1-1 draw away to Leeds United in October 2011. Previous City games he has been in charge of are: the 2-0 defeat at Morecambe in August 2010 and the 1-1 home draw with Plymouth on March 13th 2010.

This season, Mr Haines has had fifteen games and shown thirty nine yellow cards and three reds.

His assistants are Adam Hopkins and Steven Plane and the Fourth Official is Christopher Wade.
