Onandi Lowe's career could be resurrected at Oxford United. Lowe was dismissed by Coventry City after being charges with drug offences, something he was later cleared of.

Since then, Lowe trialed at Peterborough but has been out of the game.

Oxford boss Brian Talbot said to the Oxford Mail: "Onandi Lowe worked well with me when I was at Rushden."When I left at Rushden, things didn't go right for him, but I have to say that he is one of the best players I have ever managed – and that is a big compliment because I have managed players at a higher level than him.

"I think if he were given the opportunity to come back to England then he would, but the problem is the situation with a work permit."
