Former Coventry City winger Chris Birchall has signed a new one year deal with Port Vale FC.
Birchall, who helped City Reserves win the Birmingham Senior Cup in 2007 and played for Brighton & LA Galaxy with David Beckham, has tweeted: "22 years associated with @OfficialPVFC.
"The journey continues.will always call it my club&delighted to stay.Real fans know how loyal Ive been."
