New Manager For Barnet

Barnet have appointed Mark McGhee as their new manager.

McGhee, as a player, played for Morton, Newcastle United, Aberdeen, Hamburg, Celtic, IK Brage and Reading before going into managing, where he was at Reading, Leicester, Millwall, Brighton, Motherwell, Aberdeen, Bristol Rovers and the Scottish national team where he was assistant manager to former Coventry City player and manager Gordon Strachan.

The Scot replaces Ross Eames as manager of Barnet with Eames taking up a position as Head Of Player Development.

Barnet dropped into the League Two relegation zone after losing at Colchester on Saturday.
