Just as midfielder Sammy Clingan had returned to first team football from having a broken metatarsal, he has now broken down in training and may have to see a surgeon.

Coventry City manager, Chris Coleman explained to the CT, "Sammy has got a problem with his Achilles tendon and got a bursa on his heel, He trained half a session on Friday but couldn't carry on."

"We will have to go back to the surgeon to see what he says and it maybe a case of him changing his boots for softer ones at the back. He could be out for a week or two but then it depends on his tendinitis as well."

"It is disappointing because we had him back last week and he is a good presence."
