Jordan Clarke has signed a new deal with Coventry City.
Clarke's new deal means that he has not signed for any extra time and will continue to stay a Coventry player (unless he is sold) until June 2014 but it is understood, he has agreed a new deal under the new bonus terms brought in by Tim Fisher, a fortnight ago.
Speaking to Lee Corden, Clarke said: "Coventry is my home club and I really want to help get us back into the Championship so I am delighted to be signing a new contract.
“The manager has shown great faith in me over the past couple of years and this is another sign of that and gives me a huge confidence boost going into the new season.
“We had a good start at Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday night and now we are all looking forward to the league season kicking off.
“The aim ever since we knew we were relegated last season was to get promotion this time around and nothing has changed that.
“This is a great way to start the season for me personally and we are all looking forward to making a good start in the league.”
