Mowbray: We Are Going To Have To Be Clever

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that his side will have to be clever against league leaders Burton Albion tomorrow at the Ricoh Arena.

Mowbray told the Coventry Telegraph at this morning's press conference: "I think it’s a very clever appointment bringing Nigel Clough in. He probably hasn’t changed too much, tinkered a bit. He’s an experienced manager and that’s showed in the continuation of good results.”

“Burton have their own style, are very well organised in possession and out.

“13 out of 14 games they’ve scored first in they have won. It should be a very difficult game and an interesting one.

“I think it will be a day to be patient, different to Walsall.

“I am not sure Burton are a wholly possession team but they are very hard to break down as their defensive record and clean sheets suggest. We can’t think we’re going to go out and steam roller them.

“We have to be clever, not think we have to win it in the first ten minutes.”
