Mowbray No Problem With Fortune Penalty

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he has no problem with the penalty that Marc Antoine Fortune stuck away in the 3-0 win over Shrewsbury Town.

Mowbray told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “I wouldn’t have been too happy if he’d missed the penalty because he wasn’t the pre-planned penalty taker.

“But sitting here it doesn’t matter because he stuck it in the bottom corner and we won the game 3-0.

“As top scorer Armstrong should be banging those goals in. It’s almost like a goal for nothing for a centre-forward who is on a roll of goals with confidence high.

“But I have got no problems because Marco was brought down for the penalty with great use of his body and he wanted to stick it in the net. There you go, he did the job and we move on.”
